Breathtaking Ouzoud Falls: Marrakech Day Trip & River Boat Cruise

The tour with Hashimi was very nice experience. He is a excellent guide and we had a lot of fun. The views were incredible. I can just recommend.

Waterfalls are amazing. Shout-out to Idris the tour guide and Bakhouz the driver, they were both excellent and informative. The pickup was prompt and we drove for around 1hr and took a break at a small town with a cafe where you could buy food, refreshments and use the toilets (which I would recommend doing before reaching the falls). It was then another 1.5-2hr drive to the falls, when we reached we had the choice to use the toilets again, but this time for 2MAD fee, they weren't the cleanest so would recommend waiting until later. We walked up towards the falls, seeing monkeys along the way, we stopped to learn about the Amazigh people and had some mint tea and had a talk about Argan oil, and where to buy some real/authentic Argan oil both in Morocco and at home, it did feel a bit like the lady was pushing her brand but she was really nice and informative, and the oil smelt and felt great. We carried on to the base of the falls and then had a short boat trip close to them, and then we stopped for lunch where you could get some food (120MAD per person) and use the toilets free of charge. The food wasn't amazing compared to other places we've been and it's a limited menu (Chicken skewers, chicken/lamb tagine & veg tagine) and the toilets were quite run down but still fine to use. We then made our way to the top of the falls, seeing more monkeys and getting lots of great pics along the way. Then we travelled back to Marrakech stopping at the same cafe as the route to the falls. All in all a great experience for the price, be sure to bring some water, tissues, and cash for the food. And again shout-out to Idris and Bakhouz for being great hosts.

Long drive but it enabled us to see différent scenery and at destination we met a great local guide Mohamed Boufarma. He explained what we would see, the history behind it , very interesting.

The Ouzoud Waterfalls tour was amazing, especially the part where we saw the monkeys. The lunch was okay but came with incredible views. Overall, it’s a bargain for the price. The local guide did a great job explaining everything and answering our questions. Definitely worth doing the tour.

This tour is a must do experience while visiting! I’m a person who loves to experience nature and enjoy the scenery while on travel. Our tour guide, Mohammad made our experience even better than expected. He made it feel very personalized. We explored locations that felt to be hidden gems. Mohammed was friendly, informative, and communicated efficiently in multiple ways languages while guiding our group. I would highly recommend booking this experience and requesting Mohammed as your guide.

Our driver Abdelaali was a great guy, we sat in the front seats with him and had a good laugh together. He was very friendly and did a great job is it was a very long drive. Our tour guide was also a real credit to the Ando company. Overall we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to visit the falls. The value for money was superb!

Excellent day. The driver picked us up nice and early. He was a great driver despite the roads not being the best quality. The tour guide was fantastic, taking his time with us and allowing us to explore at our leisure. Hike was easy and comfortable. Falls were beautiful and the boat trip was refreshing. Lunch was delicious especially the oranges. All in all, a fantastic day.

It was good to see the waterfalls but I'm not sure of it is worth the six hour roundtrip. The walk around the lake was stretched to four hours (incl. one hour for lunch) and felt too long and not at the right pace, could have been an hour. The boat ride was nice but not what I expected. The guide was very helpful though and explained everything very well. The monkeys were horrible! We saw one ripping a kids bag off them and eating the food inside - be careful!

We had a fantastic experience, probably the best trip in Morocco. Our tour guide was Nour and he was very friendly, funny and he helped out son who is six years on the tricky parts of the hike. It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend Ando travel. The boat ride was great and the boat driver took us right close up to the waterfall, close enough to touch the water! We got sprayed by the water which was a slightly wet but thrilling experience. We also had food at a local restaurant and the food was delicious. It was a good family experience. Just be careful as there are some tricky steps so wear good walking shoes. I also recommend buying the Argon oil products from here as they were of same quality and a lot cheaper than buying from the local souk.
